Submit a link to a video you have hosted on YouTube, Google Drive, or another service. All submitted videos will be reviewed before being added to the NCIC Digital Heritage Collection for public viewing.

How to share a video

We don't host video files directly. Upload your video to a service that gives you a shareable link, then paste that link below.

Option A — YouTube

  1. Sign in to YouTube and choose Create → Upload video.
  2. Set visibility to Public or Unlisted (not Private, or we can't view it).
  3. After it finishes, copy the video link (the Share button).
  4. Paste the link in the box below.

Option B — Google Drive

  1. Upload the video file to your Google Drive.
  2. Right-click the file and choose Share.
  3. Under General access, select Anyone with the link.
  4. Click Copy link and paste it below.

Other public video links (for example Vimeo) are welcome too.
